Policies

Last Updated: September 2026

These policies apply to services provided by OKD Baseball, a registered DBA of Dickson Collective, LLC, including private lessons, group training, camps, clinics, and other baseball instruction or player development activities.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Private & Group Lessons

Private and group training sessions are scheduled based on instructor and facility availability.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please notify OKD Baseball as soon as possible. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled or credited toward a future session, subject to availability.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled session and participant no-shows are non-refundable and may not be eligible for a credit or rescheduled session, except at the discretion of OKD Baseball.

Camps & Clinics

Registration fees for camps and clinics are non-refundable for participant cancellations or no-shows unless otherwise approved by OKD Baseball.

If a participant is unable to attend, requests to transfer the registration to another eligible participant or receive a credit toward a future OKD Baseball camp or clinic may be considered at the discretion of OKD Baseball.

Weather, Field Conditions & OKD Baseball Cancellations

Baseball activities are subject to weather, field conditions, facility availability, and other circumstances beyond the organizers' control.

If OKD Baseball cancels a lesson, camp, clinic, or other activity, or determines that it cannot be completed as scheduled, participants will receive a rescheduled date, credit toward a future OKD Baseball service, or refund, as determined by OKD Baseball based on the circumstances.

If an activity has already begun but cannot be completed due to weather, field conditions, or another circumstance beyond OKD Baseball's control, OKD Baseball will determine whether a rescheduled session, prorated credit, future credit, or other accommodation is appropriate based on the portion of the activity completed.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever reasonably possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

General Liability & assumption of risk

Assumption of Risk

Participation in baseball instruction, training, camps, clinics, and related athletic activities involves inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, injury resulting from physical activity; running, throwing, hitting, sliding, or other baseball movements; thrown or batted balls; bats, gloves, training aids, and other equipment; contact with other participants, coaches, or objects; weather; and field or facility conditions.

By registering for or participating in an OKD Baseball activity, the participant voluntarily assumes the risks associated with participation.

Release of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the participant agrees to release and hold harmless OKD Baseball, Dickson Collective, LLC, its owners, coaches, instructors, staff, volunteers, participating facilities and facility owners/operators, and their respective representatives from claims or liability arising from participation in OKD Baseball activities, except to the extent such liability cannot legally be waived.

Nothing in this waiver is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Minor Participants

If the participant is under 18 years of age, registration must be completed or authorized by the participant's parent or legal guardian.

By registering a minor, the parent or legal guardian certifies that they have the authority to consent to the minor's participation and to accept the applicable participation terms on the minor's behalf.

Emergency Medical Care

If reasonably necessary during an OKD Baseball activity and a parent or legal guardian cannot be reached, the parent or legal guardian authorizes OKD Baseball personnel to obtain reasonable emergency medical assistance for the participant.

The participant and/or parent or legal guardian remains responsible for medical expenses incurred on the participant's behalf.

Registration Acknowledgment

Participation may require the participant or, for a minor, the participant's parent or legal guardian to affirmatively acknowledge this Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk during registration.
